CAET, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir, The College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology is a constituent college of Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir was established in 2006 at Srinagar Jammu and Kashmir. This is a blend co-educational institution which has a special focus on the promotion of agricultural engineering education and research. Located on a small piece of land of 5 acres, the college provides certain number of focused courses to its 155 registered students. The institute has a team of well qualified faculty members and a student strength of 17 members which help to maintain a teacher-student affiliation ratio perfect for imparting education.

The college has facilities available, intended to improve the experience of the students and assist for academic endeavors. The campus has hostels for boys and girls so students are able to comfortably spend their time in transit. A well stocked library here act as knowledge center which in turn provides cursory important for research and study. The college’s laboratories are department-specific which provide practical experience in different fields of agricultural engineering. looking at its academic content, the College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology offers a complete array of programs at different levels of studies. Of these the institute has five different programs out of which there is under graduate course, three post graduate courses and one Doctor of Philosophy course. The flagship program B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering is a four-year full-time course preparing the students from the ground up. At post graduate level, one can specialize with, the M.Tech programmes in Soil and Water Engineering, Farm Machinery and Power Engineering and Processing and Food Engineering, all of which take 2 academic years. For the research-oreinted students, the college offers a doctoral program in Soil and Water Engineering, a Six-Year full time program that advances knowledge in agriculture.
