College of Applied Science, Nedumkandam was started in 2010 in Idukki district of Kerala as an affiliated college. Nestled in the scenic town of Nedumkandam, this institution provides the facilities for education in Computer Science and Commerce. The college offers an intimate learning atmosphere to 153 students admitting students for technology and business careers.

College premises also has the necessary facilities that would complement the learning process of its clients. An auditorium is used for different occasions and meetings, hence creating a perceived exciting learning environment. The well equipped library is a source of information and there is every encouragement to the students in their school work. Being aware of the significance of health and standard, the college provides with first aid services of a health center. College of Applied Science, Nedumkandam currently offers two full-time undergraduate programmes: Computer Science and B. Com Computer Application for which the university is largest producing university of these courses in the country. Both programmes are designed to have an intake capacity of forty (40) students and hence comprises of two programmes with the total seats of eighty (80) students. These are 3-year degree programmes, which are intended to prepare students for professional activities in computer science and commercial activities.. These two specialised areas of coverage show that the college aims at offering concentrated education to learners in order to create professionals who fit well into the modern world.
