Kuttikkanam, Kerala-based College of Applied Science, Peermade, was established in 1993 and is affiliated with the university. College of Applied Science is affiliated with Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. College of Applied Science, Peermade, has several modern amenities that supplement students' learning facilities. The college possesses extremely well-equipped laboratories so required practicals could be done in different technical fields, especially electronics and computers.
