The College of Basic Science and Humanities is one of the few affiliated constituent college of the Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology official located at Bhubaneswar, Odisha. This centre of learning was founded in 1964 and for almost six decades has offered education in the basic sciences. Among them, eighty-eight are offered at the undergraduate level and completed in full-time programmes, seventy-seven in postgraduate programmes, and sixty-six in doctoral programmes. B.Sc. Honours programmes are available in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, and Zoology, while self-financed programs are also available in the Biotechnology, Computer Science, Microbiology Streams. At the Post graduate level, M.Sc Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology, Microbiology & Biotechnology The above mentioned courses are Self Financed.
