CDT, Tirupati is a constituent college established in the year 2009 under the aegis of Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University. The College focuses on Dairy Technology education as well as conducts courses in that area at the Tirupati. The college is a constituent institution and runs on co-educational lines for boys and girls. Faculty strength is 8 members.

Entrance at CDT Tirupati generally is based on AP EAMCET, which is the entrance test of the Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test. Merit is ascertained on the basis of the scores secured by one in AP EAMCET. Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education conducts this entrance test.
