24 MonthsMaster of Science (M.Sc) in Forest Products and Utilization is a full-time two-year postgraduate course offered by the Keladi Shivappa Nayaka University of Agricultural and Horticultural Sciences, Shivamogga.
i) Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in the concerned faculty with a minimum OGPA of 6.50/10.00 or its equivalent from a recognised Agricultural / Horticultural University or Deemed University recognised by ICAR. In the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/Cat I, a minimum of OGPA 6.00/10.00 pass in a Bachelor's degree is adequate.
(ii) The candidate should produce a character and conduct certificate issued by the Dean of the respective university.
(iii) Candidate should have passed a UG degree programme from any Farm University in Karnataka. Horanadu / Gadinadu Kannadigas should have passed a degree from an Agricultural / Horticultural University or Deemed University recognised by ICAR from anywhere in India.
iv) All eligible candidates seeking admission to the Master's degree programme need to apply All India Entrance Examination for Admission to Master's Degree Programme - AIEEA conducted by the National Testing Agency in the concerned stream and produce a score card (rank card). Students can also choose any subjects that belong to the stream he/she choose.
Candidate who seeks admission for subjects other than ICAR-accredited courses shall appear Farm University entrance exam as per their choices.
