College of Forestry, Sirsi was established in the year 1997 and is a constituent college of the University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad. College of Forestry is committed in preparing the students at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels to be professionals and teachers. The Researchers, planners managers, and policy makers who will contribute their careers to viable and sustainable management of forests. 

College of Forestry offers students admission in Bachelor, Master and Doctorate degrees. B Sc , M Sc  and PhD are the programmes that are offered to the students. Admissions into BSc are given based on valid CET scores and merit scores are considered for MSc and PhD admissions. College of Forestry is affiliated with the University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad and approved by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). Students at College of Forestry are provided with internship opportunities.
