College of Horticulture, Kolar It is a constituent of the year 2009 located at Tamaka, Kolar, Karnataka. Located on National Highway NH-75, this institute is devoted to horticulture with academic and research interests. Situated on a forty acres, the college is recognised by the Indian Council for Agricultural Research that guarantees high quality education in the filed of horticulture. The college currently has 298 students and this is served by 19 lecturers hence the college avails a good student teacher ratio. Right now the institute offers only one course, B.Sc. Horticulture (Hons.), and it is a full time course that takes four years to complete.
The College of Horticulture, Kolar possess infrastructure facilities needed to augment the student’s experience. The campus has well endowed practical and research laboratories to support horticulture learning and other related areas.
