College of Teacher Education, Vaikom, was set up in the year 1998 as one of the premier institutions to build the future educators. This is a coeducational school situated in Kottayam, Kerala, which functions as a constituent college to provide good teacher training courses. The College of Teacher Education is affiliated with Mahatma Gandhi University (MG), Kottayam.
