Crescent B.Ed.College, Kannur popularly known as CBE was established in 2005 at Payangadi, Kerala, affiliated to the Kannur University. This women’s institution, recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) is affiliated and focuses on providing programmes for Special Education on its 7 acres of land. Crescent B.Ed. College is a small institution that boasts of a total student enrolment of 200 and 16 faculties Making It Convenient for learners who seek to become educators themselves. 

Crescent B.Ed College, Kannur is affiliated with the college Kannur University, Kannur. The college has the following facilities to cater for all aspects of the student’s need. Its rich library offers the students various forms of literature in different subject fields, magazines, and periodicals with a browsing system for the digital library. The general admission requirement suiting for the B.Ed. programme is that applicants’ scores of the degree examination is taken into consideration where marks/grades achieved in Part III (core & complementary), or Part I/Part II common courses as deemed appropriate.
