Ranpat Dev College of Nursing, Kathua the young member of nursing colleges, established in the year 2019 only. This is a coeducational college situated in the beautiful village called Dhaloti near Shiv Mandir in Kathua, Jammu and Kashmir which aims at producing the next generation Healers. It is an affiliated college, for which it receives direction and support from a larger university system. The college also has recognition from the Indian Nursing Council a fact that ensures that the college’s programmes meet the set national standards. DRD College of Nursing is a small college as it has only sixty five students enrolment at present but it has 13 faculty members On this small scale a nursing college provides close personal attention to the students which can be advantage.

DRD College of Nursing, Kathua is affiliated college of  University of Jammu, Jammu. The college features a number of facilities which meet the contemporary standards and are intended to improve learning process as well as physical and mental health of the learners. Male and female students can benefit from well equipped hostels who shall provide accommodation for students. These hostels have dining halls with a capacity to accommodate up to one hundred students besides having provisions for hot and cold water as well as solar water heating system for the winder season. Security is paramount being observantly implemented through the installation of 40 closed circuit television cameras that operate throughout college and hostel facilities. 

To achieve its vision of providing quality health education programmes, DRD College of Nursing awards a diverse of programmes in the sector of health and nursing. The institute offers six courses in four full-time programmes of study: one undergraduate and three graduate degrees in business, and two graduate degrees in law. They are the four years B.Sc Nursing, two years Post Basic B.Sc Nursing, three years General and Midwifery Nursing (GNM), and four years B.Pharma. Besides, the college has professional two-year programmes for Male and Female Multipurpose Health Workers.

The admission process of DRD College of Nursing is made formal and easy for all interested applicants. There are also end entrance tests or students are allowed to take scores from nursing national level tests conducted by different institutes.
