It is a long and broad-undergraduate course that lasts for 5.5 years, alongside a 1-year internship. The admission of candidates for BAMS is based on the merit achieved in a qualifying examination (10+2 or equivalent) and entrance tests applicable. The selection is done through NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) as per the instructions of the concerned regulatory bodies.
Right for M.D./M.S. Ayurveda: The Internship Certificate of the applicant to be produced during the procedure of admission to the institute. BAMS graduates are the only applicants eligible to apply for the AIAPGET exam. Only graduates of the BAMS course with a recognized institution can apply for Research Doctorate (PhD) in Ayurveda.
