DAV College for Girls, Yamunanagar was founded in 1958, is one of the premier educational institutions located in the state of Haryana, India. This affiliated college spread across a 4.88-acre campus, specialises in 46 courses in 13 degree programmes for more than 3,457 learners. Under the extracurricular activities, the college has a fully air conditioned auditorium with a capacity of 500 people and is fitted with modern facilities such as intercoms, trainer-screen, stage and CAR, halls suitable for formal lectures, theatre, cultural shows, and other important functions. Sports lovers particularly can benefit from the 10,000 sq. yards playground. Games and sports, transport facilities, and a girls' hostel which has semi-furnished rooms fitted with a well-furnished mess charge nominal fees for out station students.
