DAV College, Pundri, was established in the year 1969. It is a rural affiliated college in the Kaithal district of Haryana, India. It is spread over 8 acres and has been catering to the educational needs of the entire surronding area for the last 50 years without a break. It is now offering two undergraduate courses namely Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Commerce. Its student enrolment is 414 and there are a total of 8 teaching faculty members.

There are facilities provided by the institution that make learning very rewarding to its students. At the centre of DAV College's campus, there is a well-stocked library with over 16,300 books to cover most varied subjects. There is also a section for textbooks with several copies of many books. There is also a reading room with facilities and subscriptions to all sorts of newspapers, periodicals, and journals. Another special service of free textbooks is provided to the female students throughout the academic year, making the institution more inclusive and providing equal opportunities for one and all.

In addition to academics, the college provides sports facilities that include football, hockey, table tennis, cricket, volleyball, kabaddi, and athletic tracks. A health centre provides first-aid facilities in times of medical emergency. It is supported with modern IT infrastructure, labs for practical lessons, and an auditorium for events and seminars. The DAV College, Pundri has offered two full-time undergraduate courses in which there are 160 seats for Bachelor of Arts (BA) and 80 seats for Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com). The curriculum have been designed keeping the objective of providing proper foundation in the fields of study so that the students may engage themselves in further academic studies or professional service.
