Dayanand College, Ajmer was established in 1942 is a well –known institute situated at Ramgunj Ajmer (Rajasthan). This affiliated co-educational college has the following characteristics: Total land area = 105 acres, which offer a favorable environment for learning. Currently, the college has 2,447 students enrolled for their courses, and the college has 53 faculties It provides 21 courses under nine degree programs. Dayanand College is famous for having all round educational facilities in Arts, Commerce, Science, Agriculture and Physical Education to every age and nature of student.

This college boasts of effectively providing a good learning environment additionally complemented by efficient professional facilities. At the postgraduate level the college provides MA programs in various subjects, M.Com specialization and M.Sc degrees. The total number of students enrolled in all courses is 2, 447, more so showing that the college has a large educational enrollment capacity. In the most recent academic year, the college has recorded the same full enrollment capacity as this intake, a result showing the students’ preference of the college.

The admission policy of Dayanand College is that the admission will be given on the basis of merit obtained in qualifying examinations/test and/or entrance tests as per rules of the Rajasthan State Govt. and the University to which the college is affiliated. For some programs such as B.P.Ed the admission is normally done based on performance in the qualification examination and any other admission process that follows depending on the state and university.
