D D College, Dehradun, was established in the year 2014. It is an affiliated college located in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. The co-educational institution is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education, New Delhi. This institute provides diversified programmes at various levels across disciplines. On a campus of area 1.5 acres, Faculty strength of 28 courses in 28 different degree courses with specialisations in agriculture, education, arts, sciences, commerce, and yoga at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The infrastructural setup of the college presents it with facilities for the all-round development of its students – academic and personal.

At the rear is a library, serving as the backbone of the institution, with a large collection of textbooks in science, arts, commerce, and agriculture, along with subscriptions to journals, magazines, and newspapers. Supplements to these theoretical inputs are well-maintained, fully equipped modern laboratories at DD College for Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Geography, and Agriculture. These include three fully equipped, functional computer laboratories running on more than 250 machines for the technological needs of the students. Others include dining facilities: a cafeteria, sports, an auditorium for events and seminars, and the basic medical facilities with first aid and appointments in nearby specialities in case of emergencies. The course curriculum at DD College is designed to meet the divergent interests in academics. 

The college offers 28 courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including a full-time undergraduate programme, postgraduate programmes, and a postgraduate diploma course. Courses offered at this college include agriculture, education, arts, sciences, commerce, yoga, and computer science.
