About Deogiri Institute of Technology and Management Studies, Aurangabad
Deogiri Institute of Technology and Management Studies Aurangabad was established in the year 2006 is one of the pioneer institute of Maharashtra India. This co educational institute is an affiliated college and the college is a member of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Located in Aurangabad, this institute provides various streams of undergraduate course in technology and management streams. The total number of students enrolled to this institute is 443 and faculty strength is 15 faculty members, which makes provision to students’ focused learning. The institute currently has three programmes, these being computer science, business administration and Computer Application.
Deogiri Institute of Technology and Management Studies has various facilities that caters the need of their students and also effectively aids in the learning process of students. Library plays an important role of providing Computer Applications with a source of information through alternative sources. Tulane college is resourceful in terms of information technology giving a student group constant access to the current technologies available. For the physically challenged, separately designated hostel for boys and girls is provided for anyone who needs it. There are many opportunities for people who are actively involved in sports as the college will provide sport related amenities. A cafeteria within the institution meets the food requirements of learners as well as other members of staff. The institute also has well-equipped laboratories for practical needs for the practical purpose of the students. Safety comes first with a medical facility which incorporates first aid.
For now, the Deogiri Institute of Technology and Management Studies has a total of three programmes on offer. Such programmes focus on different fields of study, and therefore give students a variety of career choices. For this reason, the institute has a total approved students’ capacity of Two hundred and fifty (250) for all the courses offered with the belief in offering quality student/faculty ratio.

However, the admission process for each course in Deogiri Institute of Technology and Management Studies is unique. The on situation for the B.Sc Computer Science programme, the admissions are done meritoriously. The selection process to the BCA and BBA programmes is somewhat more rigorous than that to the B.Com and BAF programmes. As part of admission process, candidates have to sit for a Common Entrance Test (CET), then a Group Discussion (GD) and a Personal Interview (PI). Deogiri Institute of Technology and Management Studies (DITMS): A historic institute in Maharashtra, India, in that it is the first constructed institute in the technology and management streams for undergraduate programs, providing quality education to its students. It aims at providing admission to all the programs on donations so that deserving candidates have the opportunity to pursue the program of their choice.
For admission to DITMS, candidates generally need to complete their 10+2 from a recognized board. The eligibility criteria can be different for different programs. Depending on the nature of the program, some programs will require the candidates to take the entrance exam and some merit-based admission.
Application Process
The application process for Deogiri Institute of Technology and Management Studies for various programs is:
1. Go to the official website of DITMS to get the application form for the desired program.
2. Fill in the application form with valid personal and academic information.
3. For courses where admission is based on entrance exam CET (BCA and BBA), the candidate must register for CET as prescribed by the institute.
4. Prepare well for CET and appear for it on the day of the exam.
5. Selected candidates for BCA and BBA programs will be informed and called for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds.
6. The B.Sc Computer Science course is purely based on merit for selection, therefore students must ensure that all their valid academic records are submitted.
7. Candidates then proceed to complete the admission processes by payment of requisite fees and submission of:
- 10th and 12th mark sheets and passing certificates
- CET score card (for BCA and BBA)
- Character certificate
- Transfer certificate
- Migration certificate (if applicable)
- Caste certificate (if applicable)
- Recent passport-size photographs
8. Submission of fees and documents must be strictly within the institute's deadline for admission to be secured.
9. Attend Orientation/Induction programs organized by the institute for new students.
Degree wise Admission Process
B.Sc Computer Science: Admission to the B.Sc Computer Science program at DITMS is based on merit. The institute has an approved intake of 100 students for this course. Candidates who are eligible to apply must have completed their 10th and 12th education with the Science stream.
BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications): The admission process for BCA involves a Common Entrance Test (CET), followed by a Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). Selection of candidates is carried out on the basis of their performance in all these stages. An approved intake of 75 students have been allotted for BCA. After selection, the student must complete the admission procedure by paying the requisite fee and submitting original documents prior to the due date.
BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration): The admission process for BBA is also similar to that of BCA and involves CET, GD, and PI. Admission is based on merit position gained in the CET accommodated along with performance in GD and PI. An approved intake of 75 students has been allotted for BBA.

Infrastructure is great, all the classrooms are modern, well equipped labs, extensive libraries and big sport centres. The campus is designed to inspire and support various activities. Also college provide hostel facilities which is well maintained.

Yes, the college does have the necessary infrastructure, facilities, and equipment. the classrooms have a white marker board, the college has an E-library as well as a well-maintained books library. College does provide Hostel for girls and for boys.
