    The University college of Studies in Computer Science started in 1986 at the University of Mysore is a constituent college situated in Mysore, Karnataka. This prestigious college, recognised with All India Council for Technical Education [AICTE], New Delhi, involvement provides valuable array of computer science courses available for postgraduate as well as doctoral level. The department has a faculty of four professional members who offer optimal student client ratio as well as state-of-the-art facilities for both learning and research in computer science.

    The department of college of studies has access to a host of resourceful facilities today for the benefit of its academic programmes. Installed with modern facilities they use well-furnished auditoria; one from Maharaja’s College Centenary Building which is ideal for acadaemicians and other events. Among the facilities mentioned above there is a cafeteria integrated into a campus and providing food for students, teachers and guests. Closeness to nature is also ensured with the two built Health Centre on campus to enhance campus health and wellness. All the areas in Manasa, gangotri include wired and wireless Internet browsing facilities for the convenience of research in other spheres and academic work. To the convenience of the students, KSRTC has arranged operations of city buses to the campus at every 20 minutes interval and electric battery vehicles within the Gangothri Campus are provided for the post graduate students.

These include full time postgraduate programme like M.Tech Computer Sc & Technology, M.Tech Computer Cognition & Technology, MCA and M.Sc Tech Research in Computer Science.
