Dhanwantri Institute of Medical Science, Jaipur, was set up in the year 2008 and is a reliable nursing education institute in the royal city of Jaipur, Rajasthan. This co-educational institute, located in a combined area of 1 acre, is an affiliated college recognised by the Indian Nursing Council (INC). The institute caters to 264 potential students and has a pool of 34 faculty members, which balances density in the institute. Currently, the institute offers three courses in nursing, all of which are unique for aspiring nurses: two bachelor’s degree courses and one master’s degree course.

Dhanwantri Institute of Medical Science is affiliated with Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS), Jaipur. Among such facilities, one can name a wide variety of options aimed at facilitating the students’ activities at the institute and promoting their academic performance. A library resource centre that supports the academic process forms a knowledge centre; a functional skill lab and training centre are necessary preconditions in the nursing education process. About three courses, which are full-time and complete nursing courses, are provided by Dhanwantri Institute of Medical Sciences in order to support specialised medical education. At present, the institute offers a total of 85 seats with specialisation in Management stream that also delineates its selective policy towards education. The course offered here enables the nurse to advance from a basic level of nursing all the way to the advanced level of nursing.
