Divya College of Pharmacy, Maharajganj,  started its journey in the year of 2019. This affiliated college is headquartered at Vill- Jungal Dudhai Urf Chehari, Tapp - Katahra Prgna Haveli, Tehsil- Sadar, District- Maharajganj, Uttar Pradesh and the college runs in a comparatively small area of 2.7 acres of land. The PCI approval provides for the Pharmacy institute to function in conformity with the policies set by the Pharmacy council of India and AICTE that looks into the operations of technical colleges and institutes across the country. The overall student strength is 60 with 4 faculty members. Divya College of Pharmacy offers two courses in pharmacy that will prepare students for careers in this industry. 

Divya College of Pharmacy support students’ learning process by providing basic amenities to facilitate the course work. The library thus provides a much needed information services with books, journals and other reference materials which are essential for the course. Moreover, the college has put in place departmental laboratories The laboratories contain some important instruments and equipment’s. These labs are critical for creating practical experience for projectors, this assists learners in the application of theories in practice. I agree that such facilities remain relevant to the development of the skills necessary in the situation of the pharmaceutical industry. 

At present, there are only one full time courses offered at Divya College of Pharmacy. The the D.Pharma is of 2 years duration. Both programmes have an approved admission capacity of 60, thus increasing the general student capacity to one hundred and twenty for all the courses. These programmes are aimed at giving the learners a sound ground knowledge of pharmaceutical sciences with a view of preparing them to fit into various fields in the health care /pharmaceutical industry. Therefore, the basic requirement is to have good grades in the science subjects at the 10+2 levels.
