Doon Ghati College of Professional Education came into existence in 2003. This is an affiliated college in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, and located near the sugar mill in Doiwala. The Institute is duly approved by NCTE to provide quality education, especially in the teacher training sphere. Doon Ghati College aims to provide a supportive learning environment with its 16 faculty members. It offers 10 courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels to meet the diversified academic interests and career objectives of the learners.

Doon Ghati College of Professional Education offers a total of 10 courses in various disciplines. The full-time programmes such as BBA, BCA, B.Sc. Information Technology, B.Sc. Home Science, B.Com, B.Ed, B.Sc. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, B.Sc. Zoology, Botany and Chemistry, and BA are offered at the institution. The B.Ed. course is a teacher training programme with a full-time duration of two years. course, which would run for two years, has been approved with an intake of 100 students. Equally seriously, theory and practice are pursued so that the students prepare themselves for their respective future careers.

Admission Procedure: The admission procedure differs for each course in Doon Ghati College of Professional Education. Courses such as BBA and BCA are done based on a personal interview besides the percentage of marks in the qualifying examination. The B.Ed.
