About Doranda College, Ranchi
Doranda College is a co-educational college situated in Ranchi, a city in the newly formed state of Jharkhand, India, was established in 1962. It has made its place among the other constituent college of high repute in the field of higher education. Established and recognised by NAAC with NCTE approval, the college occupies a 4.4 acre area to provide quality education. Doranda College enrolls 15,741 students and 30 teachers and provides 54 courses in 13 degree programmes to fulfil the students’ diverse academic and vocational needs.
Doranda College boast of modem amenities for learning that goes a long way in improving the lot of the students. The library which contains books and journals estimated at about 48000 is a centre of learning support for scholarly endeavours. People interested in sports can use amenities for volleyball, basketball, hockey, cricket, football, and badminton along with indoor games. It also has a good Information Technology management which allows the student learn more about technological development. Assorted facilities are a canteen, internet connection, sports hall, a modern medical centre with a first aid station, a conference hall for meetings and presentations, and functional practical departments. It also provides a guest house for the teaching and learning faculty and for students’ relatives and friends.

The campus has been undergoing the construction to enhance the learning environment every passing year. No, there are all facilities available but they are not in use. The living space is clean and the food is hygienic too.

The infrastructure is quite nice.The science lab are well equipped. The classroom have the latest technologies smart board which enhances the learning skills,hostel facilities were available, libraries were available.
It provides good quality education.

Doranda college is known for its well maintained construction and facilities the college campus include various buildings for classroom , libraries and administrative offices the classrooms are required with modern amenities to support interactive learning experience for students the college also provides while except to Laboratories for practical sessions in different subjects.
