UIT which stands for, University Institute of Technology, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam is One of the Constituent Colleges of Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Jhabua, Madhya Pradesh was incorporated in the year of 2015. Present at Kishanpuri campus of Government Polytechnic, this institute is accredited with All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam UIT has the following facilities that aim at fulfilling the academic and individual student needs. Its IT structure avails modern technology to students in order to enable them in their studies. The college library is a key reference section providing information to students and instructors for academic purposes. Sophisticated functional laboratory facilities can offer the practical experiences in a number of engineering disciplines. For the round development of the students, the institute has provide facilities like games, auditorium for cultural programmes and seminars etc.

Today Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam UIT offers two full time B.Tech programmes and each of these programmes takes four years in total. The capacity approved for the execution of these courses is one hundred and twenty student, divided in sixty seats for each programme. 

Students taking admission in the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam UIT are mainly through the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main. This is a national level examination through which students seeking admission to the institute have to appear as a first step to become Engineers.
