Dr. Babasaheb Nandurkar College of Physical Education, Yavatmal, was established in the year 1984 as a recognised college of physical education in the state of Maharashtra in India. This co-educational college is located at Satya Sai Krida Nagari, Wagapur Road, and this institution has been affiliated with and granted recognition by NCTE. It provides specialised degrees in the subject of physical education at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. This is a college with a faculty strength of 5, set at large in imparting quality education in the field of sports and physical fitness.

Both are spread over two years and give the students comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in physical education and sports sciences.

Admission Procedure at Dr. Babasaheb Nandurkar College of Physical Education is set to select the candidate who is best suitable for their courses. Admission to the B.P.Ed. course is based on merit and marks secured in the entrance examination. It consists of a written test, sports proficiency test, and physical fitness test. Marks obtained in the qualifying examination are also added. In the case of admission to M.P.Ed., the pattern is the same, wherein a written test will be followed by the fitness test and an interview. The final selection depends on the performance of the candidate in these tests and percentage at the qualifying examination. Both the admission procedures are governed by the policies of the university, state government, or UT administration.
