Dr. VRK Women’s Medical College Teaching Hospital & Research Centre is a new generation women’s medical college situated at Aziznagar, Telangana, which started in the year 2010. This women only college is affiliated to Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health sciences and is approved by N.M.C. The medical institute is vast over 26-acres of land and provides MBBS and many postgraduate courses. The teaching faculties of the college involves 76 committed educationists and healthcare ensures quality health care to the society.
Dr. VRK Women’s Medical College Teaching Hospital & Research Centre has got the following learning and development facilities aimed at making students’ learning and development a seamless process. Accommodative classroom facilities for learning and teaching are facilitated by well-furnished classroom to enhance learning – College Library as medical literature and research finding hub. Accommodation Modern laboratories that are dully equipped with relevant and sophisticated laboratory equipments aid in practicals. There is a large auditorium for use in occasions such as seminars and the students’ overall atmosphere in the campus is academic. To meet the eating requirements of the people in school, there is a cafeteria installed, and for health emergencies there is a health centre within the school area for the students and staff.
Dr. VRK Women’s Medical College offers 12 medical courses, offered at three levels of qualification. The flagship programme that is MBBS has an admitted capacity of 100 students and gives a good grounding for female candidates interested in the vocation as doctors. Besides the undergraduate course, the college provides a range of postgraduate courses such as MD and MS written in specialisations. Curriculum; All courses are full-time; means students can receive an efficient and intensive medical education.
