So it’s my first year in this university and the I remember the first time I entered the university and I was really impressed with the infrastructure and the variety of plants everywhere and we have every facility we need for all courses and disciplines and the entire campus is fully air conditioned including mess and classrooms and there are very good fields for sports and the hostels are also very neat and well maintained regularly with advanced equipment
I’m studying Bsc Psychology (Hons) and because I’m passionate about it and so far I really like the quality of the teaching and the way the professors are flexible and understanding with the students and also the curriculum is modern and frequently updated whenever there are changes and I don’t know if we can be job ready after this because Bsc is the basic for psychology and we need to a masters degree most probably so I’m confident we’ll be ready for doing a masters
I don’t really know about placements because I’m a first year but from what I’ve heard from many seniors you will get good placements if you have the required skills and knowledge but I’m giving it 3 stars because the placements here are mostly only for CSE students and placements for other engineering fields are very low and don’t even think about placements if you’re a major in sciences, liberal arts and business because they’re non existent
I’d say the amount of money we pay is worth for the education and experience we’re getting here and the university also empowers sports and other artistic skills very much so if you’re interested in learning something there’s a very welcoming atmosphere around us with minimal pressure from others
The college life is very good i would say because there are constant fests and events happening which can stir interest in you almost every day and there are also many spots where you can hangout with your friends and classmates but few problems are strict hostel rules and curfew after 9 30 pm which could be very annoying because curfew after 9 30 pm is not very reasonable and forces us to go to hostel rooms
College infrastructure is really so good that, it is the first thing that , it is the first thing someone looks at and get impressed. That can be the Cafeteria, Grand stairs, especially a seperate floor for Library, the classrooms everything is so Good.
Currently, I'm pursuing Bachelor of Arts in History Honours. The curriculum is exceptionally well, it starts form Ancient History and covers all the important topics till modern history. The faculty is so experienced, and the academics are not just book based, but research based and practically applying.
The University promises a good range of placements. I personally never experienced placements but what I heard from the peers is that, because of large number of students, getting selected is really tough.
I don't remember how much my course exactly costed, but University also offers scholarship according the score we got in class 12 ( in my School of Study). And really it's totally worth of all the money that we spent, because of the campus Life or because of the education we are getting.
Campus Life is the best in one word. It's so good that, it's totally hard to leave the campus as a dayscholar and the events that happen in the campus or, the night life of the campus as I heard from the peers who are from hostel, the facilities that University provides from Food court to emergency clinic and Ambulancs. It's Really good experience as a student while in the campus.
The universities infrastructure is quite unique and advanced and we have a lot of places to hangout. Most importantly majority of the campus is very cool and with centralised ac facilities in the mess too.
Upto my course BA hons Media studies it's very interactive, creative and useful, but I don't expect anything abt placements, because I prefer a different way in my career. Esla departments are full of fun and creativeness, but there are no placements.
I don't know much about the other courses but we don't have any placements in our course. But I heard some news recently that we are going to get placements in larger mncs. But I prefer don't think about the placements
Value for money is completely depended upon the individual. Actually we are buying education and degrees everywhere so there is no need of worrying about the cost
We people engage in different activities like clubs and events and the histel life is quite good. Most importantly you can enjoy the nature
College is quite big not gonna lie. Infrastructure is beautiful, in my opinion. My favorite place out of every Infrastructure is tree court area. And hostels are huge which I like it. It is overall clean and we'll maintained.
I am studying BSc Psychology (hons) in ESLA, SRM, AP. I have immense love for Psychology. Till now, faculty members are actually good. They support us in every way possible. They clears our doubts without shaming us.
Srm doesnt provide placements for psychology student sadly. We have to fight our own way out to get jobs with good salary. They do promise that but bsc students wont get internship that easily as you already know.
