Ekashila College of Education Warangal was established in 1984 and this college provides courses in teacher education. It is a co-educational college for boys and girls located in Jangaon, Telangana and it is approved by National Council for Teachers Education(NCTE), affiliated colleges. Located in a sprawling 12 acres land, Ekashila College of Education has three regular programmes of education vis B.Ed, M.Ed and D.El.Ed.

The college has a number of amenities to encourage the students’ academic success and development. The library being an essentials aspect of learning carries 9501 books and sups 24 journals every year. It also has a Book Bank corner – the students can take books from it for the whole term at Alma mater. It has well equipped laboratories, an event and seminar hall and an optimum provision for computer and internet facilities in the college for means of e-learning. For physical development, the campus holds a playground to accommodate different games like soccer, basketball, handball, volleyball and others like cricket and tennis. Besides, there are facilities such as gymnasium, and medical –like facility; extra co-curricular activities are promoted through organisations such as the National Service Scheme-NSS.

All the courses offered at Ekashila College of Education are full time and they offer a total of three courses. In the current academic year, these programmes have been given the highest number of admissions with 100 students for the B.Ed programme, 50 for M.Ed programme and 50 for the D.El.Ed programme. The college mainly specialises in teacher education and trains learners to achieve different positions in the field of education.

Admission in Ekashila College of Education differs from one course to another such as; For the B.Ed course the admissions are offered on the basis of the score obtained in the Education Common Entrance Test (Ed-CET), which is held every year by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
