Erode Arts and Science College, Erode was established in the year 1972, is an autonomous college of Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. The Erode Arts and Science College is accredited with NAAC grade B+ and is approved by AICTE. The EASC courses include BBA, B.Com, M.Com, B.Sc./M.Sc., BA/MA, M.Phil., Ph.D and other courses.

The EASC Scholarships fulfil all the financial needs of the students. EASC Erode scholarship programmes support the students who are in need of financial assistance and for those who are deserving. The EASC encourages fee concessions to those students who belong to Backward class and whose parent’s annual income does not exceed more than the established standards. The EASC college provides the following scholarship facilities to the students.

Backward Class Welfare State Scholarship	Backward class students whose family income do not exceed Rs. 50000.
National Loan Scholarship	Students have to secure 60% in higher secondary to be eligible for the scholarship
Harijan Welfare Scholarship Under State Scheme	Annual Income should not exceed Rs. 60000.
Scholarship To the Children of Defence Service Personnel	Prescribed Application form have to be submitted to Director of social welfare
Scholarship to the Children of Ex-Serviceman	Children of Ex-servicemen have to contact the D.S.S. Board office for further details
Harijan Welfare Loan Scholarship	Students belonging to SC category and staying in hostel can apply for this scholarship
