Faculty of Law, Kalinga University, Raipur, was set up in 2014 and is a constituent college providing legal education in Chhattisgarh. Sited in Naya Raipur near Mantralaya, this institution has gained considerable reputation as a legal education facility in this zone. Recognised by the Bar Council of India, the faculty is involved in offering different speciality in law courses to the legal fraternity. So far, the Faculty of Law offers 5 courses at different levels of learning, which allows the students to acquire complete learning on laws. The faculty, situated in Naya Raipur, the newly developed capital city of New Chhattisgarh, provides students with a combination of modern facilities for learning as well as a favourable learning environment. 

The Faculty of Law is fully equipped with ideal and comprehensive full-time law programmes for different levels of legal training. The institute offers 5 distinctive programmes of study at undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels in the field of law. There are the 3-year LLB programme for undergraduates, 5 year integrated BA LLB and BBA LLB programmes, 2 year LLM programme for postgraduate education, and Doctor of Philosophy in Law for postgraduate research. Such a diverse list of programmes allows the students to formally select a track that they desire in the realm of law. 

The main and preferred channel of admitting students to the Faculty of Law, Kalinga University, is the Kalinga Scholastic Entrance Examination (KALSEE). This examination is conducted online, consists only of MCQs, and is used as the main method of selection for each of the programmes presented by the faculty. The KALSEE was developed to measure the ability and preparedness of such candidates for legal education and training.
