Fathima College of Pharmacy located at Kollam, Kerala, was started in the year 1984, and so far it has been imparting pharmaceutical education in south India. Affiliated to the University of Kerala, this institution has been brewing future pharmacists for more than three decades at Kilikolloor in the Malik Dhinar Complex. The PCI recognised Fathima college of pharmacy and the college campus is spread over a total area of 2 acres. The college has 14 qualified and experienced faculty members and offers the students quality education along with concept plus practical training.

Fathima College of Pharmacy has several infrastructural Amenities that have been put in place to support the learning process of its students. Rich library facility contributes to role of the knowledge hub by offering vast amount of pharmaceutical literature and working material for students. Science has been also incorporated into the school by having modern laboratories fully equipped with instruments in which the student gets practical lessons in almost every aspect of the school’s pharmacy. As for now, Fathima College of Pharmacy has only one basic course that is The Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma). This is a full-time course of 2 years’ duration that offers a strong base in pharmaceutical sciences for holders of 5 credit passes in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and English. The college is approved to admit 120 students for this course to produce a large number of competent pharmacy professional yearly. Thus the D.Pharma is the most advertised programme this college and being a professional course in pharmaceutical science and technology , the programmes are designed to impart practical knowledge and dell of professionalism fundamental to practice in the pharmaceutical industry.
