The institute's intake is sanctioned for 100 seats for the B.Ed program. D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education):

GIPTS also offers the D.El.Ed program, which is necessary for those who wish to teach at the primary level. D.El.Ed admission is same as B.Ed, i.e., merit on the basis of marks of the qualifying examination and/or entrance test marks. The institute has an approved intake of 100 seats for this course as well. Eligibility is typically passing 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board.
