Gandhiji Smarak PG College, Moradabad was established in the year 1961. It is an affiliated college sprawling over 10.2 acres of land which looks very silent for academic purposes. The college has been engaged in imparting education with NCTE approval and chiseling young minds for more than five decades. An atmosphere close to learning environment surrounds here with a enrolment number of 599 students and a committed faculty of 23 members. It offers 4 different  along with arts and education through various interests and career aspiration.

College facilities are very well equipped, which will contribute to the overall improvement of the learning experience. The college library is situated right in the centre of the college, containing most standard books and journals within. Current affairs can be followed by the students themselves through daily national newspapers and magazines spread all around the library. The university shall give an aggregate of 4 courses, which are the full-time courses: BA and Education professional teaching programmes in arts. It shall give the BA according to the college offerings, and it shall provide a greater research as well as education in the humanities . The college will also offer a course in Bachelor of Education to train future teachers. For this purpose, the intake for the course shall be 100 seats. An excellent portfolio with many courses provides choices to students, ample opportunities to the graduates, and aids the students to pursue their academic interest and career objectives.

The B.Ed. Professional course is offered strictly according to the merit of the performance of the applicants in the qualifying exam or even an entrance test declared by the state government and the affiliated university for the admission to Bachelor and Master's courses. Thus, this selection process for the B. Ed. Professional course is much more stringent and rigid.
