Ghanshyam Hemlata Institute of Technology and Management (GHITM) is one of the leading educational institutions of the State of Odisha established in the year 1997 situated at Puri. Being an affiliated college The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approval this college has been offering a number of engineering courses in its massive 122 Acre campus. GHITM offers a point of focus to the students and faculty members with a total enrolment of 159 students and 41 faculty members. The institute provides four B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering and Mechanical Engineering to fulfil all engineering ambitions.

Pursuant to this, Ghanshyam Hemlata Institute of Technology and Management has equipped various amenities intended to improve the student experience. The campus also provides toilet and classroom facilities with separate hostels for male and female students complete with contemporary amenities and playgrounds. A well equipped library, modern science Laboratories and sophisticated Computer & Communication network help the academic activities. Notable in the institute provides a gymnasium, sports facilities and a canteen to boost the physical and nutritional needs of the students. In the area of health and wellness, GHITM has a health clinic, with regular doctor’s visit and round the clock pharmacist care. There is also a Punjab National Bank where ATM facilities are situated in the campus to facilitate Banking needs and requirement of the GHITM University community. Engineering is the most dominant intellectual field of study as all the four courses offered by the institute are Full-Time B.Tech Courses of 4-Year duration. GHITM offers a total of one hundred and twenty two approved intakes for all the programmes it offers . Computer Science and Engineering is offered for 27 students whereas Electrical Engineering is most popular with 45 students, Mechanical Engineering – 27 students and Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering- 23 students.

GHITM has an efficient and easy admission procedures, through which the institution admits deserving students. Admission possibilities for all B.Tech programmes are based solely on the Joint Entrance Examination Main ranks. Counseling is conducted by Biju Pattanaik Technical University (BPUT) which follows correct and proper selection procedure.
