GIET Polytechnic was established in 2008 at Khordha and is one of the premier technical institute located in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. This co-educational institute, which is approved AI Council for Technical Education offers a number of diploma courses in engineering specialisations. GIET Polytechnic being a focused institution, reviews a total number of 394 students and faculty of 52 members. The institute offers five diploma courses in different streams of engineering to meet the needs of sought after technicians and engineers.
The infrastructure facilities at GIET Polytechnic include efficient physical infrastructure that assist in effective delivery of teaching learning process. Accommodation In our institute facilities, Each Department has well equipped laboratories for practical demonstrations and training. A large computer facility equipped with 120 computers with terminals and 24/7 Internet facilities comprising of wireless internet connection effectively enables the students to access the different technologies within and outside the classroom. The college library is well stocked with more than 5,000 reference titles and other professional and computer technical and scientific books and journals, national as well as international. College Infrastructure
My college has average infrastructure and good facilities. College have well equipped laboratories. It have all the necessary need classrooms, libraries, sports club and college also have Transportation facility. Hostel facility is available but it is not clean and that leads to infections. Mobile phones are banned in the college and also in hostel.
