The intake capacity of the Institute for the two full-time nursing programs is 147 students. GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery): GNM is a three-year course, inclusive of nursing and midwifery training. Similar to the ANM program, admission of students to GNM is done once in a year. The sanctioned intake for this program is also 30 students. The eligibility for passing GNM courses as a rule is considered to be a qualifying 10+2 per equivalent, preferably with science subjects. Even ANM vocational course graduates may be considered for GNM admission in some institutes.
