Gland Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Medak (GIPS) is an well-known pharmaceutical educational institute set up in year 2009. This affiliated college is situated at Kothapet Village Near Narsapur, Medak, Telangana and It is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). GIPs facilitates specific pharmaceutical courses on a three  acre campus and enrolment 274 students in total with the teaching staff of 36. At present, the institute has three specialisations that offer two degrees at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the faculty of pharmacy.

These have been complemented by various facilties to support academics hence improvements have been done on modern facilities at Gland Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences. In the college, there is a college library that Contain books and journals and chemical abstracts. It also provide e resources it has many references to give to the students and the school has over 900 on-line journals. The institute offers adequately equipped laboratories for a number of pharmaceutical sciences such as Pharmaceutics, Pharmacy Chemistry, Pharmacognosy and Bio pharmacy, and Biotechnology laboratories. These laboratories are established according to the norms of AICTE, PCI, JNTUH, and are as follows: Further, the campus amenities of GIPS include total computerized IT facilities, facility of auditorium for seminars and other functions, separate hostels for boys and girls, and transport facilities for the shifting students.

As a faculty of the university, the institute currently has three fully accredited undergraduate programmes in pharmaceutical sciences.
