The flagship Bachelor of Pharmacy programme at GIPS has a sanctioned intake of 100 students. Admission to the B.Pharma course is granted by merit in the qualifying examination (10+2 or equivalent) with compulsory subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics. Candidates have to appear for either state-level or national-level entrance examination depending on the norms prevailing at that time for admission.

M.Pharma Pharmaceutical Analysis programme has a sanctioned intake of 15 students. Interested candidates must have done their B.Pharma from a recognised institution and usually the admission committee will consider the academic merit and the results of the entrance examination, e.g. GPAT (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test).
