The Global Group of Institutions School of Engineering, Hayathnagar, also known as GGI-SE, was established in 2010. The institution has gradually grown and expanded its wings in a very short span of time. SJB Institute of Technology at Hayathnagar, near Ramoji Film City in Telangana, is a co-educational engineering institute which has established itself as an emerging component of the fast-growing engineering colleges over a decade. GGI-SE is recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), which makes it a technical institute in conformity with a national standard. The institute has numerous programmes leading to an engineering profession, with an emphasis on offering the best quality education to students who would one day become engineers.

The facilities available in GGI-SE are meant to enhance the learning process of the students. The campus includes the separate hostels for the boys and girls and is arranged to facilitate the out-of-town students according to their needs. A collection of books that are meant to be in a library is important in order to provide students the necessary amount of knowledge. The institute also still hosts a cafeteria whereby students can sneak in a meal when they are bored between courses. These facilities play a role in developing an environment of learning that caters to the total man. The college is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantapur.

The institute presently has a total of seven undergraduate engineering programmes, which are all B.Tech full-time programmes. All these programmes are B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering, B.Tech Electronics and Communications Engineering, B.Tech Electronics and Electrical Engineering, B.Tech Civil Engineering, and B.Tech Mechanical Engineering offered to corresponding branches of engineering and give students rather a wide range of programmes to choose from. 

The Institute of Engineering at the Global Group of Institutions School of Engineering is obligated to offer an easy admissions programme for the aspiring engineers. It is worth mentioning that the scores in the national or state-level entrance examination, along with the 10+2 or equivalent examination results, are usually considered by engineering colleges.
