Global Institute of Advanced Study in Education, Palamaner was established in 2003 and is one of the prominent educational institutes situated at the district headquarters of Andhra Pradesh at Chittoor. It is a co-educational institution that spans over 3.5 acres of campus area. As an affiliated college approved by the National Council for Teacher Education, NCTE, it provides 2 full-time degree programmes in education in total enrolled to 91 students with a faculty strength of 19.

Two courses are offered by the Global Institute of Advanced Study in Education. The first two-year B.Ed programme is another full-time course. Likewise, the other course is the full-time two-year D.Ed programme. Global Institute of Advanced Study in Education instructs the students in teaching with a view to successful careers. Approved intake is 100 seats for B. Ed and 50 seats intake for D. Ed programmes.
