Global Institute of Management and Emerging Technologies is located in Amritsar, Punjab. It is a private engineering college which is established in 2008. It has been awarded an A+ grade by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) and is affiliated with IK Gujral Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar.

GIMET offers various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. UG programmes include B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Architecture and Interior Decoration. PG programmes include MCA and M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering. The institute has a student body of over 900 and a faculty count of 164.

The institute has a well-equipped 25-acre campus with separate hostels for boys and girls, a medical center, a gym, a well-stocked library with both print and e-resources, indoor and outdoor sports facilities, a spacious cafeteria, a modern auditorium, and a robust IT infrastructure with Wi-Fi connectivity.
