I got 82 marks in Unigauge exam, Will I get admission in Dayananda sagar engineering college, Bengalore
Hi,
So there are 20 participating institutions in Unigauge exam. There is no single cutoff for this examination. The participating Institutions will release their individual cut offs which will vary from availability of seats to number of applicants.
The previous year marks at DS college differ according to branch. For CS you may need around 120 marks and for IT , 110 marks . So it might be a bit difficult for you to get admission, especially to a desired branch. But nothing can be said for sure until the official cutoffs are published.
The closing ranks for various branches can be inferred from this site.

I get 82 marks in unigauge exam, and I am general. Will I get an admission in DSU College?
Hello Dilip Kumar Das,
.
I got 96 marks last year.
My ranks was 9388.
So your rank will be around 9k.
So you can't get CSE or ECE or ISE in good colleges like DSCE, RV, RAMAIAH, BIT, BMS, SIT.
You can get ECE in SIT in 1st round most probably but you will surely get ECE there by 2nd round.
There are other good colleges like BVB, CMR, NITTE.
For this rank among these colleges BVB (now KLETECH) is great because it is autonomous and that means your exams will be over by 25th May in even smester and by 25th December in odd semester.
Your college will start from 1st August.
You will get 2 months holiday in summer if you are pass in all subjects.
Also college takes its own exam and is checked by college so you will get result within 12 days of finishing of exam.
Also the placement is very good.
So at last I will only suggest you to take admission in college which are AUTONOMOUS and don't go for non- autonomous coolleges at all.
Till now 1st semester result of non autonomous colleges have not come and their 2nd sem is going to start from mid-June.
Don't go for colleges which holds exam under VTU.
Also their way of giving result is on average basis so you can't get more than 75% marks no matter how much you study.
My friends have taken admission in CMRIT but till now their result have not came might be next month and then when wil 2nd sem result come.
You will start hating them after 1st semester.
Also your grades and sgpa in AUTONOMOUS colleges will be very good and you can even score 10 SGPA.
We say that marks donot matters only our knowledge matters. I accept it but when the time comes for sitting for placements, companies reject us for just 0.1 grade also.
So take admission in AUTONOMOUS college and try to score above 8.5 SGPA in every sem.
Then there will be no problem.
.
If you want the top 3 branches (Cse, ISE, ECE) you will have to go below top 5 colleges. Otherwise you can get like medical electronics in Ramaiyah, civil in BIT. You will get Cse in colleges like SJBIT or JSS. While unigauge have not much colleges in Bangalore, I guess only Ramaiyah university (don't take this one it's bad) is a college which takes admission through unigauge and is in Bangalore.
Simply - Don't expect much your rank might be somewhere between 14k to 17k. I had 108 marks previous year and rank 10861.

Please go through the following link to predict the college as per your marks
