The GNBL Ramgarhia College for Women, Phagwara, with a purpose of providing education to women and empowering them. The various programs and courses provided by this college include 8-degree programs and 10 different types of courses, catering to the various interests of students.  Under the normal admission season, the academic process begins in the months of August and September. For undergraduates, the minimum eligibility criteria for admissions require complete 10+2 schooling from a recognized board, with selection made on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying education level. For postgraduate studies, candidates must hold a graduation degree in the same field awarded by a recognized university.

Application Process

The GNBL Ramgarhia College for Women has a much-simplified application process, which normally follows the steps below:

1. Obtain application forms: The application form may be obtained either by going to the college admissions office or downloaded from the official website of the college.

2. Fill up the form: Credentials must be provided for each and every section in the application form.

3. Document collection: Keep a common set of documents, which may include:

Degree-wise Admission Process

B.Com: There are 75 seats available for B.Com in GNBL Ramgarhia College for Women, and admissions are made on a merit basis based on marks in 10+2 level tests, with preference given to relevant subjects.

BCA (Bachelor of Computer Application): The BCA program has 60 seats, and admissions are made strictly on merit. Candidates with a strong background in Mathematics and Computer Science at the 10+2 level will be given preference.

BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration): GNBL Ramgarhia College for Women has 60 seats for the BBA program. Admission is on the basis of merit, taking into consideration the candidate's performance in the qualifying examination. 

B.Sc Economics: This course has 75 seats for admission which is based on merit with presence given to the marks obtained in Mathematics and Economics during the 10+2 examination.

MA Economics: The college offers 60 seats available for postgraduate studies. Admission is probably based on the candidate's performance in the undergraduate degree, particularly in subjects related to economics.

PGDCA (Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications): The program admits 40 students on the basis of their performance in the undergraduate degree, especially in computer-related subjects.

Diploma Courses: Multiple diploma courses are offered by the college: Diploma in Computer Application (50 seats), Diploma in Library Science (40 seats), and Diploma in Dress Designing Cutting and Tailoring (50 seats). Admissions to these programs are especially based on merit, with respect to the candidate's individual performance in the previous qualifying examination.
