Gobindapur Sephali Memorial Primary Teachers Training Institute approved in 2004 is an affiliated college. This is a co-educational institution recognized by the National council for teacher education NCTE which focuses on teacher education. Located on a 0.74872 acres of hemisphere, GSMPTTI has two full-time course structures for 400 student enrollments. It has a well qualified faculty of 33 members student teacher ratio has proved to be quite favorable in the institute. 

Gobindapur Sephali Memorial Primary Teachers Training Institute, Burdwan is affiliated College of Baba Saheb Ambedkar Education University, Kolkata. The Gobindapur Sephali Memorial Primary Teachers Training Institute offers variety of amenities for learning and other formative needs of its learners. Regarding the admission process the Institute operates under the provision of the decision of the admission board after the proper completion of admission form and documents attached to it. This is well applicable in case of B.Ed and D.El.Ed programmes.
