Good Shepherd College Kottayam which was started in the year 2012 is one of the sponsoing institution for higher education in Kottayam, Kerala, India. Situated at, Ettupadi Road, the college being an affiliated college is situated across the, Karimpin Restaurant near MC Road Nattakom, has been educating young minds for more than ten years. The institution provides a narrow specialization of undergraduate degrees in commerce and management as a response to the dynamic business environment. Currently the College has 13 members of faculty and this ensures the student get all the attention required for quality learning. 

This college provides multiple facilities to support more effective and rich learning process of students. The students are provided with, a well stacked library with first order national and international journals, periodicals and dailies. The digital library and e-journal access have improved the learning facilities necessary for students also. For those with interest in computers the college has provided a computer laboratory coupled with language laboratory with the aid of audio visual. Sports lovers will benefit from the indoor and outdoor sports amenities for the children in order to exercise as they learn in school. The campus also has WI-FI connectivity throughout the learning institute for academic and research course work. Accommodation to the students is facilitated with the separate hostels for boys and girls with secluded rooms having amenities for accommodation secured and furnished. Through its college canteen, the College offers hygienically packed multi cuisine food at a relatively message cost to cater to the varied taste buds of the students and the employees.

Good Shepherd College has only four courses which are all full-time undergraduate courses. These courses play over different areas of commerce and business administration, which will undertake students to their future jobs. Total numbers of seats for students intake by the college for all the programs put together is 160, in order to optimize on the ratio of students and faculty. 

All merit category seats of the undergraduate programs are admitted through Mahatma Gandhi University Under Graduate Centralized Allotment Process (MG University UG CAP). This keeps admission process as fair and standard as possible to all student who want to join the university.
