Gopabandhu Institute of Medical Science and Research School College of Nursing, situated at Athagarh, which was established in the year of 2018 is one of the leading nursing education institutions in Cuttack city of Odisha. This co-educational institute located on a forty-acre piece of land is an affiliated college with the Indian Nursing Council (INC). An enrolment capacity of a total of 50 students and The faculty of 8 teachers provided 4 courses across two degree programmes in Vietnam and specialises in different branches of nursing. 

Gopabandhu Institute of Medical Science and Research School College of Nursing, Athagarh is affiliated with the college Utkal University, Bhubaneswar. The opportunities and the institute provide various assessment tools to support the educational process and the students. Total sanctioned intake of the institute is 70 which distributes in all programmes, with 30 for ANM and 40 for GNF.
