Government Ayurved College and Hospital, Jalgaon, came into being in 2019 by the decision of the Maharashtra State Government. It is situated at the Shri Gulabrao Deokar Engg. College Campus, Shirsoli Road, Jalgaon, Maharashtra 425002.

Government Ayurveda College and Hospital, Jalgaon is affiliated with the college Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik. This college is the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik (MUHS) approved institution. It gets recognition from the Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM), now called National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM), as well as from the Government of India and India.

BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) programme at Government Ayurveda College and Hospital, Jalgaon is a 5.5-year programme including an obligatorily one-year-long internship. Every year the 125 students' intake BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) program is offered. The course duration is 5 years and 6 months, including a one-year rotating internship. 

The hospital associated with the college is of 60 plus bed capacity and has a well-developed operational theatre, labor room, diagnostic services like X-ray and ECG, emergency services, wards and pharmacy. The campus also has a Herbal garden, library with Ayurveda and Medical Books, separate hostels for boys and girls, lecture halls and demonstration rooms.

The first years of the college were the years when the hospital building for the college was not fully functional. The students were occupying temporary places or spaces for rent and the permanent hospital was delayed in its inauguration.
