Questions related to Government College, Kasaragod
which is the best degree for IAS
Hello dear student !
Civil services examination (for IAS) is the most toughest and top level examination of India. The only eligibility criteria to apply for the same is that you need to have a completed graduation degree from any institution in any subject and you have to be 21 years of age. So there is no specific degree which is best for IAS as people from different backgrounds have cleared IAS examination with flying colours be it medical background, engineering background or simply humanities background. But if you can take any humanities subject in your graduation that will be a plus point for you in the sense that you will get help for your GS part. Also, you will simultaneously be able to prepare for your PRE as well as MAINS as syllabus will match upto a limit and GS includes a lot of humanities part.
Hope this will help you !
