Tripura-based Government College of Art and Craft, Agartala, was set up in 1975 with the purpose of nourishing the artistic souls of the state. This affiliated college is situated in Lichubagan, Agartala; also, it is spread over an area of 6.25 acres and really provides an established, artistically lively campus. An annual student strength of 256 and faculty strength of 8 enables the college to give proper individual attention to its students. The institution teaches 5 courses under two programmes and all of these courses deal with aspects of visual arts.   • BVA Art History: Admission to the four-year BVA in Art History course is also determined by the candidate's CAT score. A merit list of selected candidates is released after analysing the CAT results.
