Government Degree College, Magam, affiliated to the University of Kashmir, and started in the year 2011, is co-educational College situated at Budgam district of Kashmir province in the State of India. As its name suggests, this affiliated college is NAAC recognised, and it currently provides an assortment of undergraduate programmes to students from all backgrounds. Total strength of the college is 1481 students and offer sound environment and ambience for higher learning in the enchanting valley of Kashmir. Government Degree College, Magam currently offers three full-time degree programmes: A three years degree programme in Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA).

These include the following facilities to support the learning of the college’s students: Partially automated library facility is one of such amenities that currently contains a wide range of text books, reference documents, and journals for various disciplines offerings. The library is updated consistently,and soon the university is in the process of accessing unbounded use of online resources from UGC and INFIBNET which will be tremendous for the students and staffs. There are some other facilities too for those who loves exercises, there is sports facilities and good gym in Government Degree College, Magam.
