A Government college recognized from Semester System in the year 2007 in Educationally Backward District of Bidar, Karnataka State is Government First Grade College, Bhalki (GFGC Bhalki). This is a co-educational college and is situated in Bhalki, Karnataka – This institution is relatively young and has gradually risen in this ranking in the region in terms of quality. GFGC Bhalki being affiliated college offer quality education to students this college is accredited from National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The campus is however compact extending over 3 acres and is well designed to facilitate learning and character development. 

The college boasts that it has put in place every facility that may in one way or the other favors the learning process. Nobody would like to share there room with the opposite sex the students are privileged to have secrete hostel for boys and girls for those who travel from very large distance are provided for. These are B.Sc. Physics, Mathematics, and Computer Science, B.Com, BBA and several combinations of BA in History, Political Science, Sociology, Economics, Physical Education and Kannada.
